Hi, I'm Liz — The Project Skills Mentor
I was born and raised in California. I started work in "Silicon Valley" in the biotech industry, managing accounting and systems. There, I learned how to go beyond managing a department; instead, I focused on forming and inspiring teams.
Coming to Europe was a happy accident. I was meant to go for 2 weeks, and it has been 20+ years now.
I have learned so much along the way. I have worked in 35 countries and discovered that teamwork and projects can mean something slightly different in every situation and culture.
I've had the privilege to work with some fantastic colleagues and teams. The best of these were project teams dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. That is when you start to go beyond: a team of bright and motivated people is terrific. But the ideas and skills of all of us working 'in the flow'? It is alchemy.
